What is SWPBS?

At Campbellfield Heights Primary School, we implement School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students. SWPBS is a proactive, evidence-based approach that promotes positive behaviour, wellbeing and academic success. It aligns with Victorian Government policies and helps foster a strong school culture built on Respect, Responsibility, Successful Learning and Safety.

Our Approach

We use a tiered model of support to ensure all students receive the guidance they need to succeed:

• Tier 1 (Universal Support): Whole-school strategies, including clear behaviour expectations, positive reinforcement and explicit teaching of social skills.

• Tier 2 (Targeted Support): Small group interventions for students who require additional behavioural guidance.

• Tier 3 (Individual Support): Personalised strategies for students with complex behavioural needs.
